Beacon Partners is excited to announce that Rhino Market, a local Charlotte neighborhood market and deli, is the first official retail tenant of The RailYard in South End. The RailYard is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2019.

“Rhino Market is the perfect tenant for The RailYard as it will serve as a gathering place for residents and business professionals alike to enjoy great food and a great atmosphere,” said Mike Harrell, Senior Partner, Office Division, Beacon Partners. “We are excited about the retail activity on this project and plan to make some more announcements soon.”

The RailYard Southend is a mixed-use development featuring two eight-story buildings with 300,000 square feet of creative office space and 30,000 square feet of ground-level retail. Rhino Market is leasing a 3,100 sq. ft. space located within the Grand Central area of The RailYard, the lobby of the building as well as the outdoor courtyard. Outside of Grand Central is a 15,000-square-foot community area known as “The Yard” where guests of Rhino Market can use for outdoor dining.

Along with Rhino Market, there will be three other dedicated restaurant spaces and a coffee shop inside Grand Central. The RailYard will offer over 100 covered bike lockers, a 2,500-square-foot fitness center with locker rooms, two rooftop Sky Terraces and a designated Uber/Lyft drop off area in the rear of the property.

Rhino Market & Deli currently has two locations in Charlotte, their first store opened in Wesley Heights and their second opened in Uptown. They also plan on opening a location in NoDa early next year. Rhino Market in The RailYard will be open all day to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

"We are super excited about our new location in South End. Railyard is going to be a great destination spot and awesome addition to South End," said - Rob Rondelez, Rhino Market owner. "There will be a couple unique things about this Rhino location which will give it a Rhino feel with a modern big city vibe. Stay tuned!”
