A BRIEF LOOK BACK…

Beacon Partners was established in 1989 when Pete Lash joined forces with Ed Weisiger (Founder). With entrepreneurial minds and a passion for the business, they launched Beacon Partners to build a portfolio of high quality real estate assets.

What began with two partners in December of 1989 has become one of the most highly respected and successful full-service commercial real estate firms, with a remarkable team of dedicated and talented professionals. We still aspire to improve upon and grow our real estate portfolio, but we are also committed to improving the lives of those who work at Beacon, the facilities and environments for our many clients, and the communities in which we operate.

1989 — Beacon’s first “World Headquarters” in North Charlotte
1991 — Began developing Northwoods Business Park, a 500,000 SF flex park
1999 — Began developing Harris Corners Corporate Park, a 500,000 SF mixed-use park
2002 — Acquired Atando Business Park, a 1 million SF industrial park
2011 — Acquired Commerce Park, a 1.1 million SF industrial park
2014 — Developed 1616 Center, a 77,500 SF mixed-use project
2018 — Developed Metrolina Park, a 1.1 million SF industrial park
2019 — Developed RailYard Southend, a 320,000 SF mixed-use park
