Howard brings 27 years of experience across private equity, real estate investment and asset management, and multifamily advisory to Beacon Partners. As Managing Director of Capital Formation, he focuses on cultivating relationships and securing capital to support Beacon’s continued growth across its investment platform.

Real estate has been part of Howard’s life from an early age. His late father, a developer, instilled in him the importance of building trust and alignment, a perspective that continues to guide his approach to long-term partnerships.

Before joining Beacon, Howard led CBRE’s multifamily investment sales platform across the Raleigh-Durham market. Prior to CBRE, he spent more than a decade with Federal Capital Partners, a real estate private equity firm in Chevy Chase, Maryland. He began his career in investment banking with Prudential Securities in New York before moving into middle-market private equity at Nautic Partners in Providence, Rhode Island.

A Richmond, Virginia native, Howard earned a B.B.A. in Finance from James Madison University and an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Outside of work, Howard is a proud father of four who enjoys time with his family, staying active outdoors, and being involved in his church community.
