As Senior Director of Capital Formation, Sam joins the team to help fuel Beacon's continued growth by raising the debt and equity capital that powers the firm's pipeline. He launched his career at Wells Fargo in the Real Estate Capital Markets group before spending six years at Nuveen Real Estate, working first in Charlotte and then in New York, where he focused on debt originations and acquisitions across all asset classes nationwide. He then made the jump to the development side, moved to Atlanta, and spent the last five years raising capital for multifamily and BTR projects across the Southeast at Highpoint Development and TWO Capital Partners.

A Charlotte native and UNC Chapel Hill graduate, Sam returns to North Carolina with his wife and two kids.
