Zach leads Beacon’s multifamily development platform across Beacon’s pipeline in Charlotte and the Triangle, while also sourcing future opportunities. With a track record spanning over 6,700 units across 20 plus projects throughout the Carolinas, he brings deep experience and strategic vision to every deal. Prior to joining Beacon, he was Senior Vice President of Development with The Bainbridge Companies, where he was responsible for identifying and executing on large development projects across the Southeast. Before this role, Zach was Senior Director of Development at Greystar where he opened and led the company’s Raleigh development office. 

Zach earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Michaux Fellow, and a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction with a concentration in Real Estate Development from Virginia Tech. He is a member of the UNC Kenan-Flagler Wood Center Academy Advisory Board and the Virginia Tech Blackwood Department of Real Estate Advisory Board and serves on the Asset Management Committee for CASA, an affordable housing nonprofit based in Raleigh.
