Beacon Partners has announced that Quantum Machinery Group is relocating their headquarter operations into Metrolina Park, a 2.5 million square foot distribution park in North Charlotte. With Quantum’s 37,972 square-foot lease, Metrolina Park’s existing buildings will be 100 percent leased.
Quantum Machinery Group has been a leading metalworking equipment supplier for more than two decades in the U.S., offering customers expertise and access to more than a dozen categories of equipment, including in-stock metalworking machinery, welding tables and accessories. The company is relocating its business from California to North Carolina in an effort to be closer to their growing customer base on the East Coast. Quantum is scheduled to move into their new facility this Summer.
Dedicated to long-term business relationships, Quantum is known for facilitating job creation nationwide by supplying products to some of the world’s most trusted metalworking manufacturers. “We are excited for our move to Charlotte, and we look forward to doing our part to enhance economic growth in this vibrant city,” said Albert Solano, President at Quantum Machinery Group.
Tim Robertson, Director of Industrial Leasing for Beacon Partners, said, “Beacon is excited to welcome Quantum to Metrolina Park, especially in these extraordinary times. We are thrilled to see companies throughout the country choose Charlotte time and time again as their corporate home.”
Metrolina Park, which is located at the intersection of Highway 115/Old Statesville Rd. and Gibbon Rd. has generated 500 jobs and +/- $75 million in investment over the last three years. As previously announced, Beacon Partners is also developing another 230,614 square-foot distribution building in Pineville and recently started construction on a headquarters building and distribution facility for Carolina Premium Beverage near the airport.
