Beacon Partners announced today Zach Spencer is joining the firm as Partner, Multifamily, to lead its multifamily development platform. Spencer brings more than 15 years of commercial real estate and construction experience to the new role, including work on over 20 multifamily projects across the Carolinas totaling more than 6,700 units.
“We see continued opportunity for growth across our mixed-use development platform and believe Zach’s demonstrated leadership and multifamily expertise are a perfect fit for Beacon. A key element of our growth strategy will be the continued diversification of our existing office, retail and industrial portfolios, and Zach is the right leader to catalyze this complementary initiative across the Carolinas in the mixed-use and multifamily space,” commented Pete Kidwell, President and Managing Partner of Beacon Partners.
Prior to joining Beacon, Spencer was Senior Vice President of Development, Carolinas Region, for The Bainbridge Companies, procuring and executing on large development projects in Charlotte, Raleigh, Charleston, Atlanta and Nashville.
