Beacon Partners has welcomed two new employees to its Raleigh office. William Mann joins the team as Associate, Investments. In this role, he is partnering with Beacon’s industrial and office teams on transaction underwriting, due diligence and asset management. Mann graduated from the University of South Carolina with a double major in real estate and finance and earned his South Carolina real estate license. Prior to joining Beacon, William worked for HFF/JLL's Carolinas Office Investment Sales team as an analyst and later as an associate.

Katrena Baptist joins Beacon as Property Manager to manage a 1.3 million square foot portfolio in Raleigh. Over her more than 15-year real estate career, she has managed a portfolio ranging from medical and aviation to office and industrial properties. Prior to joining Beacon, she was a Real Estate Manager at CBRE | Raleigh where she managed a portfolio of office, medical, flex and retail properties. Katrena graduated from North Carolina Central University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. She is an active member of Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA) and is pursuing a Certified Property Manager (CPM ®) designation through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).

Both new hires reflect Beacon Partners’ success in rapidly expanding its presence and expertise in the Raleigh market through high-profile building acquisitions and new developments, including Beacon Commerce Park, a 630,000 SF master-planned industrial park near I-40, exit 303 in Garner.

“We are excited to welcome Katrena and William to the Beacon team,” said Walker Gorham, Partner / Raleigh Market Leader. “Their experience and enthusiasm for opportunities in this market and ideas for ways to maximize their success will play an important role in our future growth and investment in Raleigh.”
