Beacon Partners has welcomed two new employees to its Charlotte office. Jamie Caldwell, CPA, has been named Assistant Controller, taking responsibility for Beacon’s tax compliance, planning, and general accounting functions. Shaw earned a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to joining Beacon, she was Tax Manager for Blair, Bohle & Whitsitt, PLLC. She also worked at Elliott Davis, PLLC as Tax Senior, managing various client groups with a focus on real estate, private equity and complex partnerships.
Theresa Hanlin has joined Beacon as a Property Manager. Hanlin brings more than 15 years of sales, marketing and commercial management experience – ranging from retail to flex. At Beacon, she has assumed management of nearly 3 million square feet of the industrial portfolio including Metrolina Business Park and Atando Business Park. Prior to joining Beacon, she managed mixed-use and industrial buildings in Columbus, Ohio for Colliers International. She holds real estate sales associate licenses in Ohio and Missouri and is the progress of earning a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation.
